The Initiative

Where Them Saints At?

Boots on the Ground is the JiReH initiative mobilizing the Body of Christ to step out of the pews and onto the pavement, erasing the mental health stigma in the church through Stigma-Free Support and Pastoral Counseling.

The Kickoff

Historic First Baptist Church of Cumminsville · November 15, 2025

Boots on the Ground was born from a successful kickoff event at the Historic First Baptist Church of Cumminsville in Cincinnati, Ohio. The kickoff combined the Executive Arts Dinner, APS Temperament Profile sessions, a 30-minute counseling session, dinner, and live entertainment, with the larger movement: a clarion call to the Body of Christ.

We believe the church should be the primary sanctuary for healing. The Saints don't sit on the sidelines. They show out.

What Boots on the Ground Is

Three commitments of the movement.

  • 01

    Erasing the Stigma

Mental health belongs in the church. Boots on the Ground is the work of erasing the mental health stigma within the Body of Christ.

  • 02

    Temperament-Led Healing

Through the Arno Profile System, we help Saints discover their inborn temperament, and find behavioral harmony rooted in Psalm 139:13.

  • 03

    Active Engagement

Boots on the Ground means present, visible, and never on the sidelines. The Watchmen show out for the Saints.

Founding Scripture

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb."

Psalm 139:13

Serving Greater Cincinnati & Little Rock

Boots on the Ground Across Greater Cincinnati and Little Rock, Arkansas

JiReH serves Greater Cincinnati and surrounding DODD service regions as a Certified Independent Provider, offering DODD audit-prep compliance consulting to agencies and Independent Providers preparing for state audits (HR files, client medical files, and Medicaid billing), alongside private-pay I/DD care and pastoral advocacy. We don't work for DODD; we help you prepare. We also serve Little Rock, Arkansas, where Pastor Gloria is working toward provider certification through the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS), under the CES Waiver, and where our compliance consulting is available to agencies and Independent Providers as well. Our roots trace to the Historic First Baptist Church of Cumminsville, where the Boots on the Ground movement was born. Pastoral counseling is also available virtually for clients beyond the Cincinnati area.
