JiReH Counseling Sanctuary is the home of Pastoral Counseling and Temperament-Led Healing. Our work delivers the Gold Standard of pastoral care, biblical in its foundation, professional in its rigor, and pastoral in its posture.
Pastor Gloria leads as a Spiritual Physician, pairing the credentials of an NCCA Licensed Pastoral Counselor with the lived experience of forty years of advocacy. The anchor verse is Psalm 139:13: "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb."

What is the Arno Profile System (APS)?
APS is a temperament assessment that surfaces your inborn temperament, what scripture calls your inmost being. The five temperaments are Melancholy, Choleric, Phlegmatic, Sanguine, and Supine. Pastor Gloria is an Advanced APS Specialist.
Is Counseling Sanctuary clinical mental health counseling?
No. We provide Pastoral Counseling from a biblical perspective. We are not licensed by the State of Ohio as Clinical Mental Health Counselors, Social Workers, or Psychologists. We do not provide medical diagnoses or prescriptions. See the full Professional Disclosure & Disclaimer below.
Do you accept insurance?
No. The Counseling Sanctuary is Private Pay only. This keeps the work pastoral in nature and outside the clinical insurance scope.
What if I need clinical psychiatric care?
We provide a Warm Handoff referral to a qualified medical professional whenever clinical care is needed. We never let a client fall between the cracks.
